Information Technology & Disaster management
Bright Ideas, Inc. and its owner Vicki Davis, were instrumental in the tornado recovery effort
for Mitchell County thisValentines Day 2000 and has received various professional and civic awards including a special citation from the District 6900 Rotary District Governor
and a certificate of commendation from GEMA (Georgia Emergency Management Agency.) In addition to the tornado information center on the www.camillageorgia.com website, we assisted in managing the volunteer effort including the creation of a customized database, paperwork tracking, and administration.
Vicki and Kip Davis have been called upon to lecture and share their procedures and findings at
several venues, the most recent including the National VO-AD conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
At this presentation, we gave the following handouts. The following files are compliations of this information and are included as a service. Please feel free to contact Vicki at 229-336-1700 for advice and consulting or information should you have a need for “volunteer management assistance.”
